Descriptions:<br />
-To review and reinforce content, focusing on listening, grammar, reading, and writing skills.<br />
-To build familiarity with test-taking strategies for the upcoming Test.<br />
-Teachers should give students feedback on strengths and weaknesses, rather than scores.
- Students will learn how to describe their favorite animal using My favorite animal is (small). It has (two arms) and (two legs). It can (climb).
- Students will learn how to describe actions using We can/They can’t and the adverbs quickly and slowly.
- Students will learn about what animals and plants need in order to survive and find out how plants eat and drink.
- Students will learn the sounds /m/ and /n/ through words that start with those sounds.
- Students will listen to and read a story about a hat. They will use the information from the pictures and words to understand the story.<br />
- Students will learn how to talk about actions using can and can’t, the action words hop, run, swim, climb, fly, and how to use but as a connective
- Students will learn ten new pet words that relate to their everyday lives.<br />
- They will practice identifying and making sentences about them.
Descriptions: <br />
- Hand back the tests individually and go over selected test questions, especially those that many students found challenging.<br />
- For speaking sections, give one-on-one feedback if possible, highlight specific strengths (e.g., clear pronunciation, good use of vocabulary) and areas to improve (e.g., sentence structure, fluency).
